11 May 14 - 11 Jul 14, All Day
Location: Roma on Bungil Gallery
Nancy Hunt is from Narrabri and is bringing her artwork to Roma in a collection of sculptures, paintings, mixed media & drawings inspired by her experiences of living in rural and metropolitan NSW, and also time spent travelling overseas.
As well as winning numerous well recognised art prizes, Nancy has recently been commissioned to produce sculptures for the new Narrabri Hospital and also the Armidale University.
In 2001, she received the McGregor Fellowship through the University of Southern QLD, enabling her to spend ten months visiting art galleries throughout Europe.
Some of her exhibits have been influenced by Etruscan and Celtic artefacts she saw whilst overseas – and others by horses her family had when she was growing up.
