The 2015 Roma on Bungil Gallery Santos GLNG Young Artist Bursary is now closed.
The Roma on Bungil Gallery Santos GLNG Young Artist Bursary has been established with the generous support of Santos GLNC to assist young people from the ages of 15 to 21 years, who live within the Maranoa region of South West Queensland in pursuing studies in all aspects of Visual Arts.
It is recognised that young people from this region have to leave the area to undertake studies in Visual Arts and this places an additional burden on them and their families. It is intended that the Roma on Bungil Gallery Santos GLNG Young Artist Bursary will benefit such students.
The Bursary is to be used to defray costs associated with a young person’s visual arts studies and may include expenses such as the purchase of materials, course texts, payment of course fees, etc.
Who Can Apply?
Applications for The Roma on Bungil Gallery Santos GLNG Bursary are invited from young artists aged between 15 and 21 years within the Maranoa Region who:
- Wish to undertake further education and training in the Arts
- Need financial assistance to enable them to complete an Arts course or workshop.
- Live within the Maranoa Region
The Bursary is worth $1,000.
